Great time, Great Friends = Awesome Day!

This past weekend we were fortunate enough to enjoy some time with great friends for a Memorial Day weekend party, and their child’s birthday. It was a great time, it was a great day, and all the kids (about 10 of them) had a blast. We enjoyed the gathering and coincidentally enough, really needed that time away.

The entire family has had sickness over the past few weeks and this last week, all the boys got sick. That’s right; Asher, Aniston, and me. We were miserable. Aniston sounded like a barking seal but didn’t have croup, and we all had strep. Good time huh? So that’s why it was so rejuvenating to get out and have some friends and fellowship with some GREAT company. It was also our anniversary. 11 years to be exact, and that time just flew by. To top it all off – Tosh got the bug later that evening. Good times.

Any way, we love gathering with friends and we look forward to some friends coming in from out of town around the 4th of July. Being around friends just energizes us, we love to entertain, and we love to gather, so here are some shots from that day.

Just for fun! Strike a pose!

Outdoors, Great Weather, Great Kids

No, he's not Sully.

Today we had a great day, actually, this entire weekend has been very productive - lot of work done around the house and some play time. Aubrey's not been feeling well lately, so it was nice for her to get outside and play. She loves the outdoors. Any chance she gets to be outside - she jumps at it. That's part of the reason, ok, cringe now, Minnesota stinks during the winter. There's only so much outside one can do and actually enjoy it. Some day we'll be off living in California. Count on that. Then the kids can play, play, play to their little hears content but for the meantime we have spring and summer. Spring and Summer's in Minnesota are not bad at all. In fact, there are many days that are enjoyable, where it's great to sit outside enjoying some good food with some good friends. Those instances are unbeatable. Well, ok, if you're staring out at an Ocean - it's tough to beat that!

I look forward to the summer and scheduling many photo sessions with friends and new friends.
