This Little Guy is Special

This little guy is special. Ok, you got me, all my kids are special. This one is just different. He's happy. From the time he gets up in the morning until just before he goes to sleep. When that time happens, he morphs into a little monster. Perhaps that’s a big harsh, so I’ll focus on the 99% of the day he’s an angel. From the time he wakes up in the morning, if he’s laying by you, he’ll just stare at you waiting patiently for your eyes to open or he’ll gently poke or try to scrape your arm with his little fingers that don’t quite have that great of coordination just yet. Once he captures your eye, his eyes start squint, his cheeks get big and the biggest smile pops up on his face. And he’s like that most of the day. He’ll wait until he catches your eye, then smile. It’s awesome!

This evening, well, this week we’ve had some great natural evening light around 8PM. It’s too cool. Too perfect. I had to bring him outside and try to capture some of those moments.

And just for fun... I really liked how the light bounced off this tree and had to get a shot of it. I'm not really a big vegetative shooter but this just looks cool to my eye.
