The Sedgwick Family

I met this family for a session this past on a great November day after literally booking the session a few days prior after the photographer they previously had scheduled with had to have an emergency medical procedure done! Yeah, I know, what a trip! I was grateful for the opportunity. We spoke briefly on Saturday and we met on Sunday. They have 3 great kid's and two extraordinary dolls, as you can see from the proceeding photos. They were up for anything I suggested and were a joy to be around. Here are some of my favorite shots from the session.

Angie's Family

This is my friend Angie and her girl's. I have known Angie for years, in fact, we grew up together from a very young age so I felt privileged when she asked me to shoot her family. She wanted to shoot down by Minnehaha Falls, so that's where we went, only the weirdest thing happened - the falls were bone dry! I have been to the falls several times over the years and typically it's a roaring river with a super fast current so to see it dry as a desert was just off, nevertheless, we were able to get some pretty darn good shots of her and her girls in the general vicinity. It's a great location for any photo session.
